Karen Gregg
Training Manager

Karen has 40 years of experience working with at risk youth and families in a variety of therapeutic roles and can honestly say she continues to love every minute of the journey. She specializes in developing and providing supportive training for individuals who work in the mental health and educational field, with an expertise in Crisis Intervention.  As the Training Manager she oversees an extensive training program and supports the residential components of the Children’s Receiving Home.   

Karen has acted in a variety of capacities including offering training to providers and caregivers, serving as a community collaborator working with county agencies, local school districts and providers with specific focuses on sexually exploited youth as well as runaway youth. Karen has spent large portions on her path overseeing a level 14 residential program; a special education day program as well as providing community based parenting programs. A native to Tahoe, Karen spends her free time enjoying hiking, biking and snow sports.
