We’re in this Together
The Children's Receiving Home (CRH) is dedicated to the health and safety of our clients and staff, especially during this uncertain time

We’re in this Together

Take 3 minutes to view our educational video for our kids (and staff) about the new measures and how we’re employing social distancing within our unique environment.

COVID-19 Campus Safety

Dorm-focused activities and recreation have taken the place of all-campus movie nights, basketball games and cookie-decorating contests. Because of our community’s generosity during the December holiday season, we have plenty of games, books and toys (although we can always use more acrylic paints, brushes and canvases, as well as Google Play gift cards for video games).

In-person visits have been suspended, and our dedicated staff are coordinating video calls and telephone chats with court-approved family members and social workers. Body temperature is checked twice a day for every resident and staff member who comes onto campus. Janitorial services have been accelerated and staff are regularly disinfecting high-touch surfaces. Meals are still lovingly prepared by our wonderful kitchen team but are served to-go and eaten in dorms. Staff members are wearing gloves and masks, and we are preparing in the event that we need to establish a quarantine dorm for sick youth.

Thank you to all who have shown appreciation to our amazing team - who are going far above and beyond the call of duty during this confusing and scary time. As an essential service provider we will continue to meet the needs of the community while keeping our kids and staff safe, 24 hours per day.

COVID Can’t Stop Good

A HUGE thank you to our wonderful donor community. In such a difficult and uncertain time, our supporters have stepped up to ensure the wellness, safety, and comfortability of our Home.

Thank you for bringing Easter treats, games, tablets, homemade masks and other protective gear for our children and staff during this lock down. Our generous community is a reminder that the Coronavirus can’t stop the spread of kindness.
