Our Approach

Our wellness and recovery approach focuses on empowerment of youth by taking ownership of their treatment and actively working toward improvement. Our program is designed to stabilize youth who are in psychological crisis in the shortest possible time. Youth are initially authorized for 5 days with options for reassessment and extension. We utilize evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to assist youth in their acquisition of skills which will enable them to improve their health, build and sustain a support network, and thrive. Clients have the opportunity to:

• Acquire and develop coping skills

• Set goals

• Improve socialization

• Increase problem-solving

• Improve stress-reduction techniques
