Dear friends and advocates,
Amid the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, The Children's Receiving Home remains steadfast in our commitment to the most vulnerable in our community and we want to assure you that our organization is committed to the health and safety of our clients.

Every day youth walk through the doors of the Receiving Home in need of our care, and our clinicians and specialists remain ready to respond. Amid the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, The Children’s Receiving Home remains steadfast in our commitment to the most vulnerable in our community and we want to assure you that our organization is committed to the health and safety of our clients. Our Leadership Team and Board of Directors are closely monitoring the situation and following the advice of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Governor’s Office, and the State and County Departments of Public Health. The agency’s top priority continues to be caring for at-risk youth while ensuring the safety of our clients and staff, and our organization has implemented new procedures to ensure the health and safety of our clients and staff during this turbulent time. In the meantime, we have transitioned in-person meetings and visits between youth and family members to telephone/video chat as much as possible and have ceased off-campus activities. We will continue to monitor the situation and follow guidance from public health authorities and make additional modifications to our operations and needed. Also, we must temporarily pause the acceptance of in-kind item donation items due to public health concerns. If you’d like to support our youth, you may donate online or text GIVETOCRH to 41444.
