Children’s Receiving Home of Sacramento’s (CRH) Partial
Hospitalization Programs (PHP) provide hospital diversion and
post-hospitalization treatment in a day treatment setting.
Services are provided in a safe, home like, confidential,
environment. CRH’s experienced treatment team provides intensive
and effective treatment delivered through structured treatment
services. Our team provides an initial assessment, safety
planning, individual and group therapy, structure,
psychoeducation, symptom reduction, coping skills development,
socialization, transitional support and family education and
supportive services.
• Ages 10 to 17 years old (to best meet their developmental
needs, 10-13 year olds generally participate in the Junior Group
while 14-17 year olds generally participate in the Teen Group)
• Currently enrolled with one of the following insurance
providers: Kaiser, Anthem or Magellan
• All genders
• At risk of being hospitalized at a psychiatric facility or are
transitioning out of psychiatric hospitalization
Our wellness and recovery approach focuses on empowerment of
youth by taking ownership of their treatment and actively working
toward improvement. Our program is designed to stabilize youth
who are in psychological crisis in the shortest possible time.
Youth are initially authorized for 5 days with options for
reassessment and extension.
