Here at CRH, the holidays are truly the most wonderful time of
the year. This year, as we continue to wear our masks and
practice social distancing, the holidays looked a bit different
Our donation station shifted from our front lobby to our parking
lot, and our Angel Tree transformed into an online Wish List of
gifts; but that didn’t stop you! Thanks to
your flexibility, our kids will experience a holiday season to
Just a couple of weeks ago, Sabrina Silva was at an event in
Folsom, where an artist came out to paint a couple of signs for
the Childrens Receiving Home of Sacramento. Today she returns for
the big ribbon cutting and reveal!
Here at CRH we are currently getting ready to celebrate
Halloween, but we need your help! We’re seeking Fairy Godparents
to bestow a spirited season of make-believe and magic upon our
youth! Sponsoring a dorm with a gift of $250 will ensure that
every child’s costume wish comes true, provides materials for our
highly-competitive dorm-decorating contest and purchases tickets
for a group outing to a local haunted house. To become a fairy
godparent this #Halloween for one of the dorms above message
us on our social media pages or email email@example.com!
Gift cards are a great way to help CRH meet the needs of the kids
we serve. Not only do they enable us to take the kids on outings
or for special meals; they allow us to procure specific
therapeutic materials, birthday gift requests or supplies for a
school project “on demand”.
Some favorites are Target, Walmart, Amazon, Five Below, 99 Cent
Store, Michael’s, Jo-Ann Fabrics, GameStop, Chipotle, Popeyes,
Pizza Hut or Crumbl cookies.
A big thank you to everyone who donated on May 6th on the Big Day
of Giving. All funds will be going to support our
Therapeutic Recreation Program. Thanks to all of you we were able
to reach a new record and raise $80,000.
