Through an innovative partnership with Alliant International
University, the Children’s Receiving Home is helping to address
the shortage of mental health providers in our region. Doctoral
students facilitate group therapy, case management, and child &
family team meetings with the youth we serve. Student clinician
Lydia is concluding her practicum with us and planning her career
in the field of mental health care. She shared a bit about how
this time has prepared her to serve clients. Read more about what
Lydia share in the article below.
Leverage your birthday to make a huge impact for our kids!
Whether you host a donation drive of needed items,
launch a Facebook
fundraiser, or use
Evite to encourage donations, turn your birthday into
gold for CRH youth.
Here at CRH, the holidays are truly the most wonderful time of
the year. This year, as we continue to wear our masks and
practice social distancing, the holidays looked a bit different
than usual.
Our donation station shifted from our front lobby to our parking
lot, and our Angel Tree transformed into an online Wish List of
gifts; but that didn’t stop you! Thanks to
your flexibility, our kids will experience a holiday season to
remember.
Children’s Receiving Home of Sacramento is now
listed as an official KidCents charity on
Kidcents.com. Through KidCents, Rite Aid
customers can donate their change to an official KidCents
charity, which now includes us!
