Residential Services
The facility is licensed annually by the State Department of Social Services to
provide care for 98 children ages 1 to 17. The Children’s Receiving Home is available
twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, for the admission of children and serves
between 1,500 and 1,800 children a year. Children are in crisis when they are admitted
to this facility, and our objective is to be supportive and as constructive as possible
during their stay here.
The Residential program provides shelter and supervision as well as activities and
emotional support for children in need of emergency shelter. The facility has 10
cottages with Residential Counselors, Residential Supervisors, and Crisis Management
Counselors available to assist the children.
