Page Turners (Literacy)

Our Page Turners program enriches at-risk children's lives by inspiring them to read. Our literacy program holds daily reading activities and motivational storytelling reading events.

Every child takes their favorite books along with them to their next placement, whether it be a foster home, or returning to their own homes. A child is much more likely to be read to if they are actually carrying a book. We distribute over 5,000 books each year to 2,000 children served annually at CRH.

When a child makes the same emotional connection with books as with toys and play, reading becomes a fun, imaginative activity.
