About Us
The Children’s Receiving Home of Sacramento is the shelter for abused and neglected children in Sacramento County. Our children have all suffered some form of abuse
or neglect causing them to be removed from their home. Our children are between the ages
of 1 year old and 17 years old and we will serve over 1,700 children in
this calendar year. Average length of stay is 25 to 30 days. We have been in continuous
operation in this county since 1944.
